So, last week we were headed to watch Three Little Pigs at Singapore Repertory Theatre. It was an amazing production and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest!

But of course I decided to use some fabric from my stash to make a new dress for N to wear to the show.

The dress was based on Simplicity 2377 pattern -view B. I had 1.5mts of fabric from spotlight that I bought during a sale. I was not sure if it was going to be enough. In the end, I did have. to join two separate pieces to create the last layer of the skirt portion of the dress, but it got swallowed in the gathering and does not really show. The pattern itself was fuss-free. There is elastic at the neckline and arms which was extremely helpful as I did not need to put in any zippers or buttons. N really enjoyed wearing the dress and I loved how quickly it came together!

We also ended up booking tickets for the next play, The Princess and the PEA in October!
