I have been thinking recently of creating a skirt that is casual enough to wear during the summary days but fancy enough to not look shabby. I had picked up some beautiful summery fabric at spotlight a long time ago but had not gotten around to sewing with it. I thought a skirt was the best idea with the print I had. I used a Simplicity S9613 pattern for this one. I think the pattern is fabulous and maybe I will make the halter top from it one day too.

Anyway, it took me all of 3 days to sew up and I think it looks fabulous! The pattern was easy to follow and quick to put together. The fit was great and I think this one is going to get a lot of wear!
